The organisation's purposes are:
To promote community development by providing a forum for bringing people together, including individuals, formal and informal groups and agencies, to seek to ensure that the refugee, asylum seeker, BME, and migrant worker communities living across the city of Glasgow and beyond, have full and equal access to resources
To assist in the prevention and relief of poverty and disadvantage, improving health
To promote racial harmony and their settlement and integration within local communities.
