1. to relieve poverty and provide facilities in the interests of Social Welfare using a community development process with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Northern Ireland (mainly East Belfast) and its environs and, working with partners in other disadvantaged areas of the world; 2. to advance the education of the public in Northern Ireland and elsewhere using a community development process in the domestic skills of painting and decorating, house maintenance and repairs, gardening, health, provision of early years services, senior citizens' clubs, training, befriending the elderly and in the conservation of Northern Ireland (mainly East Belfast) and its environs and, working with partners in other disadvantaged areas of the world;
