The organisation's purposes are:

Working with other community organisations and services in the Kinross-shire area we aim to tackle the effects of poverty by providing support and practical assistance to individuals and families who are experiencing hardship. The area covered by the group is Kinross and the surrounding area.
a) To advance the prevention or relief of poverty
n) To advance the relief of those of need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or disadvantage

By:
Working in partnership with other organisations whenever possible and primarily deliver its services via volunteers
Developing an independent local community food bank in the Kinross-shire area
To develop a strong volunteer base by recruiting and supporting local residents to volunteer
