Amcanion

The organisation 's purposes are:
4.1 The objects of the organisation are the prevention or relief of poverty
in Orkney by providing emergency food supplies, essential toiletries
and household items to individuals in need and/or charities or other
organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty in Orkney.
4.2 To provide relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage among persons residing within Orkney area in such ways as the trustees from time-to-time think fit.
In furtherance thereof:
To oversee the general running of the Foodbank provision in Orkney.
To ensure staff and volunteers carry out the activities of the Orkney Foodbank within Christian values.
