Al-Ikhlas Foodbank

The number of emergency food bank supplies given to families in crisis in Wales increased by 3% in the past year, figures show. Cardiff saw the greatest demand for food - 11,480 supplies were given. The Cardiff distribution centre gave 118 tonnes of food to seven food banks across the city according to the BBC and Wales Online. As local community centre of an Islamic faith, our religion teaches us that, Al-Ikhlas Centre’s aim is to improve the quality of life and ease the difficulties of some of our community members during their period of hardship.
